Wanda R. Milne, 78, of Bumpass VA, passed away on Sunday, July 24th at Riverside Hospital in Newport News VA.Wanda met and married her husband Keith in 1960 and enjoyed traveling with him throughout his time serving in the U. S. Navy. She had a long secretarial career with the government and had resided in the Lake Anna area since 1988. She faithfully attended Elk Creek Baptist Church and had been a member of the choir. She was an avid sewer and especially enjoyed quilting with the Piecemakers Quilters Club in Bumpass.She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Marion K. (Keith) Milne; her parents Eddie and Anna Schultz; and sisters-in-law Nancy Drummond and Alice Joy Schultz. She is survived by her three children, Scott A. Milne and his wife Donna of Newport News VA, Marion K. (Keith) Milne, Jr. of Ormond Beach FL, and Kimberly A. Milne of Reston VA; brothers Kenneth L. Schultz of Portland OR; Darrell W. Schultz and his wife Myrna of Mineral VA; Gene A. Schultz and his wife Margaret of Meridian ID; and Joseph E. Schultz and his wife Dorothy of Roy WA; a sister Dorothy A. Schultz of Buhl ID; two grandsons Jacob S. and Benjamin T. Milne both of Newport News VA; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Elk Creek Baptist Church. Inurnment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her name may be made to Lake Anna Rescue Inc. (LARI), P O Box 101, Bumpass VA 23024-0101.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. We will miss Wanda at our Piecemaker`s Quilt Group and loved spending time with her there. She was a talented quilter and we loved seeing her many wonderful projects.

Wanda will be missed in the Piecemakers quilting group. She was talented with a needle and thread, and a joy to chat with about her time in Portland. May all her family find comfort in fond memories of Wanda.
I enjoyed seeing Wanda at quilting. I pray you will find comfort in knowing she is in Heaven where she will have no more tears or pain Revelation 21:4 and you will see her again O what a joyful day that will be.
Dan & I have so many good memories of our camping trips with Wanda and Keith and the Shultzes. She was an outstanding quilter and a great mother and wife. She will be missed by us.
We are missing Wanda at Elk Creek Church where she rarely missed Sunday School and 11 am worship. She was an inspiration to us with her determination and strong will despite her health challenges. Our love and prayers are with her family and we are grateful for the wit and wisdom Wanda shared with us. No more suffering and pain in this world but rather tears of joy for Wanda`s heavenly homecoming. Love to all. Linda & Phillip
