Walter Allen Glass, 90 of Norfolk, Virginia passed away November 8 2012 after a short illness.

Walter retired from the state of Virginia with 30 years as a food inspector for U.S.D.A.Walter leaves behind his wife of 58 years Edith J. Glass; his sister Lorine Rigsby; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents John Levy Glass and Pency Cola Johnson Glass John L. Glass and Leon Glass; and his sister Ellen Brown.A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday November 12 at Yanceyville Church Cemetery.In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Yanceyville Christian Church or Hospice. “
