W. Nevil Cook, Jr.

April 18, 1937 – August 2, 2021

Nevil Cook, Jr., 84, of Bumpass, VA passed away Monday, August 2, 2021 at his home. Nevil spent his career as a General Manager for Ford Motor Company and later worked as a cook at MacQueens Store for 12 years. He loved fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother Willard Nevil Cook, Sr. and Grace B. Cook of New Albany Indiana. He is survived by his loving wife Linda M. Cook; and two daughters Sheryl St. George of Collinsville, Oklahoma, and Tara Dean (Pete) of Bumpass; one brother Wayne Cook of New Albany, Indiana; one sister Joyce Scott (Don) of New Albany, Indiana; six grandchildren, Tiffany Varney (Mike), Wayne Dean (Cindy), Heidi Jackson, Devon Dean, Eric St. George (Nikki), and Jess St. George; fourteen great-grandchildren; and one great-greatgrandchild.
