Cindee, Mitzi, & Sonny,Many years have passed since our eyes have connected, I did spend a few minutes with Tammy a few years ago as our paths crossed in Holly Grove, and I got to meet Tammy`s precious Haylee! I really enjoyed those few minutes with Tammy and realize what a happy childhood memory she, Cindee and yalls home was for me. Please know I`m thinking of you and holding onto those special memories. I remember Tammy took a modeling class with a bunch of friends, I wanted to do that also. I was asking Tammy what is the key to beauty what advice can you give me so I can look like yall, een magazine look” lol. Tammy said the best advice the instructor gave them was make your bed right away when you get up in the moring and to this day everytime I make my bed Tammy comes to mind how strange life can be. She was really a fun person sometimes she would look and me and say “are you for real” it was if she actually got my goofy way of acting. She was so Witty and fun. I will never forget the time Mr. Mounts the preacher of South Anna BAptist Church was taking everyone home from some church funtion for the teens and when we pulled in the drive way of her house Tammy was saying OH I hope he doesn`t read the sign on the tree that was referring to her big mean dog lol her eyes got real big with her cute little smile she has she was so funny. I don`t know what it was but I just truly liked Tammy. I know you all will miss her very much Cindee I know she loved you. Man Oh man when I saw Tammy`s picture just now it made me realize the late 7o`s and 1980 was just a sigh one breath. To the family my prayers I will hold you up before a God who never forgets you and always loves you He gave his precious Jesus for you and now in times like this your hope our hope remains forever in him Christ Jesus. Tammy today is in “your future” you`ll see her again I know you will. Big Hugs from Me to You All her friends and “her Precious family” much Love Sandi Gibson “Psalm 23″ from the Holy Bible.” that is where you can see Tammy.”
Dear Dino, Haylee, Nancy, Mitzy and family; I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one, Tammy. You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you have been for a while.
Dear Haylee, Jeff, Nancy and Family,You have been in our thoughts for several days. We know what a courageous fight Tammy put up and we admire her so much. But now she can go to a peaceful, loving place and rest and we should all be glad for her even though she will be missed so much. She gave it her all and you can remember that with pride and love. Please know we are here for you in any way we can help in the upcoming days. And God is always there for you so just ask. Love, Pat and Tom Sanders
It was an honor to help care for Tammy during her illness. She will be missed, but I know she is in the arms of Jesus now. That girl was some fighter !
Sonny, Mitzi,Cindee and family,This is the saddest Birthday I have ever spent. I just learned of Tammys passing a fewm minutes ago. Please know that I didn`t even know she had taken a turn for the worst. I haven`t heard from anyone so i thought no news was good news. boy was I wrong. It seems as thou we were just together at her her birthday party. She looked so awesome and was even feeling good, heck we even went to a bar go figure. we danced like we we in high school. Can`t ever take those memories away. My mom called her the welcome wagon…she always had food or clothing when she would come to our house. We stayed on the road back then, of coarse gas was probably 50 cents.Man that pinto took us everywhere. What a beautiful person she was inside and out. I`m so sorry I wasn`t there for her final days but she will be up there w/mom on another welcome wagon. Please know I love you all very much and would have been there for you. Please keep in touch. 434-767-4880 434-298-7579.
