Shirley S. Badgett, 73, of Louisa County, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Badgett was a lifelong resident of Louisa and a member of Louisa Christian Church. Survivors include her daughters Sandra Perry (Bruce) of Bumpass, Sherrie Davenport (Dale), of Louisa and Susan Glass, of Mineral; grandchildren Tabitha Harris, Nicole Glass, Justin Perry and Chasity Badgett; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Badgett Jr.; parents, Harry William and Nellie Nichalos Smith; and grandson Ricky Glass Jr. The family will receive friends from Noon-3pm Thursday, July 25 at Woodward Funeral Home. A service will begin at 3pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery.

Take comfort in knowing that Shirley is at peace in the living arms of God. She will be missed on earth by many. She was a thoughtful and caring person who would do anything for those she loved. We will see her again one day.
