Shirley Louise Mitchell, 92, of Chesterfield formerly of Mineral passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Crowder, Carolyn Mitchell, Donna Mitchell, Ronald Mitchell (Jan), and Thomas ”Tommy” Mitchell (Micki); 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters Jean Colwell and Janet Evans. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald L. Mitchell.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at Mineral Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mineral Baptist Church, P.O. Box 447, Mineral, VA 23117.
