Warren and Bonnie, I was so sad to learn of Shirley`s passing. I have such wonderful memories of terrific times with all of you – especially that great cooking! Your home is the only place I`ve been served sweet cornbread and buttermilk! Bonnie, I know how proud she was of you and your family. The last time I saw her, her eyes just sparkled when she told me about your family. It`s such a small world too. One of my co-workers at Collegiate lived next door to your home in Mineral. Her name was Emily Bode, it`s Emily Bradshaw now. She has 2 daughters, Taylor and Catherine. Emily and I have been teaching together for 14 years and share Mineral stories every now and then. Please know I`m thinking of you and know that Shirley is free of pain and suffering. She was a wonderful person. Love, Ann
Warren and family, I am so sorry about your loss. Shirley and you were my Dad`s special family members when he was alive. Know that though we do not see each other, you are in my thoughts. I never will forget 42 years ago the end of this month, you singing that song at Daddy`s funeral, School Days all ended”…right name? Would love to hear from you. Hope you are able to sing to comfort youself at this most difficult time. Your voice has blessed my family and for that I am truly grateful. Please call me at 872-3710 if I can be of help in any way. Love and prayers to you and your family.”
