Ronald “Ronnie” Sherman Brooks of Louisa, Virginia born September 21, 1956 to Lloyd “Chink” Brooks and Mary Ellen Baxter of Spotsylvania, VA died unexpectedly at his home on February 21, 2016; at the age of 59.Ronnie is survived by his loving wife; Linda Carter Brooks, his loving daughter, Tiffany Lynn Brooks and her friend Nate. He is also survived by his father-in-law, Clarence Carter of Louisa, VA for whom he cared for dearly; his sister, Beverly Heberlien (Joe) and one niece and nephew.Ronnie was a member of Bethel Church in Spotsylvania, VA. He was employed at Tubex in Louisa, VA for ten years and considered his co-workers family. He was an outdoors man who loved to hunt and fish. Ronnie leaves to cherish his memory his beloved friends and others that meant the world to him. Ronnie was a great fun loving husband, father and friend. He will not be forgotten. His memory will live in our hearts forever.The family will receive friends from 3 until 5pm on Sunday, February 28th at Woodward Funeral Home, A service will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 29th at the funeral home officiated by Rev. Steve Hall. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa, VA.
