Roland Albert Hamm, 79, of Louisa County passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his residence.He was born on August 2, 1934 to the late John and Arlene Hamm. Roland was a lifelong resident of Pendleton, VA.He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clarence and Joe and a sister Mae Wolfrey,Survivors include his two sisters, Betty Elizabeth Proffitt (Roy) and Edith Bickley (Marion) and one brother Thomas “John” Hamm and many nephews and nieces.The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, July 6 at Louisa Baptist Church.A service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 7 at the church. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
