Robert Mason Daymude, 72, of Louisa County passed away Monday, March 11, 2013 at Martha Jefferson Hospital.Mr. Daymude was a salesman for 33 years for Coca-Cola, Alexandria Bottling Plant. He attended Mineral Baptist Church and has been a Louisa resident since 2000.Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Janet Ann Daymude of Louisa; son Charles Daymude and his wife, Susan of Lake Norman, N.C.; step-sons Raymond and Ronnie Proffitt; daughter Lauri Chastain and her husband, George Chastain IV of Fairfax County; step-daughters Brenda Galloway and Beth Proffitt; grandchildren Melanie and Chelsea Payson; and step-grandchildren Danielle, Dustin Justin and Jimmy.Services will be private.

To my Grandma & other family members; I hope that you have such wonderful memories of how Bob & Grandma allowed all of the family to always come visit them so often. Bob, you will truly be missed greatly by me & I will forever cherish the great moments you were apart of.. Grandma, I pray that God give you the strength & courage to continue your days until the day He calls you home. You will be with Bob again. I love you very much & am sincerely sorry for your loss. I AM SO SADDENED BY THE PASSING OF MY STEP DAD, HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN WHO WAS KIND AND PATIENT AND LOVING TO MY FAMILY.. HE GAVE MY MOTHER A WONDERFUL LIFE, THEY TRULY LOVED AND RESPECTED EACH OTHER AND OPENED THEIR HOME TO MY CHILDREN AND GRAND CHILDREN AND GREAT GRANDCHILDERN TO SHARE IN THEIR MEMORIES OF THE TIMES AT LAKE ANNA. THANK YOU BOB FOR MAKING MY MOTHER SO HAPPY AND GIVING HER A LIFE SHE SO WELL DESERVED, YOU WILL BE MISSED. MOM YOU ARE IN MY DAILY PRAYERS , REST EASY IN THE KNOWLEDGE HE LOVED YOU SO VERY MUCH AND YOU MADE HIS TIME HERE ON EARTH SO HAPPY. HE IS NOT SUFFERING NOW AND HE WILL BE WATCHING OVER ALL OF US.
