Robert Lee Stanley 60 of Louisa, Virginia; passed away at his residence on Sunday, February 16, 2014. He is predeceased by his parents, Emmett R. and Martha G. Stanley and a sister, Dorothy Schmidt.Survivors include his daughter,Tammy Greathouse (Michael) of Chester, VA, son, Robert L. Stnley (Ashleigh), grandchildren, Kaylee, Emilee, Autumn Lee, and Haleigh, brothers; Emmett Stanley (Sandie) of Mechanicsville, VA, Jerry Stanley (Tonie) of Elmont, VA, Earnest Stanley (Janet) of Idaho, sisters; Martha Wood (Jimmy) of Elmont, VA and Emma Stewart (Mike) of Montpelier, VA, fiancée, Thurma Baker of Mineral, VA, special friend, Bubba Chaulklin, of Doswell, VA, numerous nieces, nephews and friends. K9 companion, Mattie.Family will receive friends 6-7pm on Thursday, February 20th with a 7pm Celebration of Life Service at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA, Officiated by Rev. Byron Newman.
To be absent from the body is to present with the Lord. May those who knew and loved you find comfort in knowing that you are no longer in pain and suffering. You were truly a unique person and will be greatly missed. You gave me one of the greatest gifts of life….Tammy
