Myrtle Louise Bickley, 80, of Louisa, passed away November 16, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 7, 1929 in Delaware to John Hunley and Minnie Boyer Hunley. Myrtle retired from Louisa Manufacturing. She was a member of Yanceyville Christian Church in Louisa.
Myrtle is survived by her son, Ralph E. Bickley and his wife Debra of Louisa, a brother George Hunley of Louisa, a sister, Bea Buckler of Maryland, two granddaughters, Bobbie Jo Bickley of Louisa and Virginia Bickley of Louisa, two great-grandchildren, Benjamin Smith of Louisa, and Alyssa Bickley of Louisa and numerous nieces and nephews. Her husband, Floyd Edwin Bickley, Jr. and her parents precede her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Woodward Funeral Home in Louisa. A graveside service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2009 at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa.

To the family of one of my best friends and a Mothere to me. Myrtle was not only my frienda, she was like a mom to me. I know her sent I was 18 teen, she took me in as one of her own. I love her very much and talk to her a lot on the phone. We work together at Wolfork and stay in toch after we left there. She is one of God`s Angles and I be live God sent her to me.My thoughts and pray`s go out to each and every one of you. Myrtle lived just across the field from the house my husband and I had as a weekend retreat. She and I would wave and talk acrosss the field if we did not have a chance to visit one another. She was a good neighbor and very friendly to me. I will miss her.
