Mary M. Honeycutt, 66, of Louisa, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Newton H. and Marie F. Merricks. Mary was a professional horse rider and accomplished trainer alongside her husband David
She is survived by her husband, David Honeycutt, her son, Matthew Honeycutt (Beth) of Columbus, Ohio, her daughter, Julie Capozella (Joe) of Louisa, Virginia, and her grandchildren, Madison and Bailey Honeycutt and Jacob, Evan, Izzy and Nathan Capozella.
A private service will be held by family

So sorry to hear that Mary has passed. I have such fond memories of her when I lived in Sterling, Virginia. Mary taught me a lot about horses when I was about 12 years old. She kept her 2 horses Tourist and Lena across the street from me then, and I was the horse enchanted pest that would visit often. I still have the lovely book she gave me for a Christmas gift. Heaven has gained an angel. Peace to her family.
