Margaret Constance Schafer 89, of Mineral, Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014; at University Of Virginia Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George and Beatrice Lawrence. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Mineral, VA; and was former head of Women’s Guild. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by daughter, Joan Ann, sister, Geraldine and brothers, Robert and Arthur.She is survived by her husband, Robert Harold Schafer, son, William R. Schafer and wife Peggy Ann of Manassas, daughters, Barbara Leister and husband Daniel Kevin of New Bern, NC, Kathleen M. Clemons and husband Buddy of Durham, NC; sisters, Marie B. Barton of Vienna, VA and Shirley Mattos of Essex Junction, VT, grandchildren; John and Christopher Schafer, Rachel and Jason Leister, Rebecca Greene, Lori Bridges, Sara Shoemaker, Robert L. Schafer, Amber Walton and seven great grandchildren.A Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at St. Jude’s Catholic Church officiated by Father Duffy. Burial will follow in Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Friday, May 9th at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA,
