Linda Harrell Lowman, 70, born on November 1, 1946 passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017.
Mrs. Lowman will be dearly missed by family and friends. She served many years on the volunteer rescue squad. Mrs. Lowman was a hair beautician and sang beautiful gospel music.
Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Groome (Wayne); step-daughter, Kay St. Louis (Andre); step-son Dale Lowman; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters Lucille and Doris; and brother Bill; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lowman; sister Ann; mother Eva; and father William.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 18 at Woodward Funeral Home.
A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 19 at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Bethpage Christian Church Cemetery.
What a blessing to have known Ms. Linda. I will miss her.

Linda , I only Knew you a short time neighbor but it was so nice to meet you and your little dog Buttons. I am blessed at the time we had together as friends and neighbors ! And I want to say to you Linda we shall meet again friend . Reston peace and God bless you .
I was shocked this morning to find out that my friend Linda had passed away. We have been out of town fir over a week and I had been trying to call her with no reply. I know she had injured her foot and was having a really hard time with it. I know she is in Heaven and enjoying every second of it. No more pain…no more worries…I will miss her calls and messages…but we will talk again one day…my prayers go out to her wonderful family and friends…she will be missed very much…
