Katherine Carter Daniel, 88, of Louisa, Virginia passed away on Saturday, October 25, 2014.She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmo Daniel; son, James Daniel; six brothers, Woodrow, Aubrey, Richard, Carrol, Marvin and Leslie; five sisters, Bernice, Bea, Florence, Arlene, and Isbelle.She is survived by sons, Travis Elmo Daniel, Jr. (Winnie) and Lawrence Daniel (Maggie); daughter-in-law, Lena Daniel; grandsons, Travis, Tyler (Kathleen), and Brandon, great grandchildren, Christopher, Kaela, and Gabriel; several nieces and nephews.Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Woodward Funeral Home.A graveside service will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Louisa, VA.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Louis Volunteer Fire Department, Co. #1, 300 E. Main Street, Louisa, VA 23093.
