Judith Mullins
Nov 17, 2041 – Apr 17, 2011
Hugged by her husband and daughter, Judith O’Darrell Garber Mullins, of Bumpass, quietly passed away at her Lake Anna home the morning of April 17, 2011, at the age of 69.
She is survived by her husband Robert; her daughter Kimberley Raimist and husband Peter of Midlothian, two granddaughters Ellie and Anna; and two stepsons, David Mullins wife Lisa; daughters Megan and Morgan of St. Augustine Florida, and Michael Mullins wife Diane; son Michael Robert of Holcombe, Wisconsin. She also leaves behind her sister Diane Mockabee of Dale City; nephew James Mockabee, and nieces Susan Sorbello and Laura Kaczmarek Gay; brother-in-law Dennis Mullins and wife Nancy of Portland, Oregon, and numerous great nieces and nephews, and a host of loving friends.
Judy was a mother to all who knew her, came in contact with her, or even brushed up against her. A woman who originally wanted a plethora of children, she achieved just that by mothering everyone.
Also an active member, bridge player, and trivia buff at Tanyard Country Club, Judy’s friendly face will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 21, 2011, at their Lake Anna home at 2:00 p.m.
Because Judy absolutely adored animals, especially dogs, in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Judy’s honor to Bandit’s Adoption and Rescue of K-9’s, a non-profit organization that rescues dogs. Checks can be made out to BARK and sent to P.O. Box 1682, Glen Allen, VA 23060 or donations can be made at www.barkva.org.
My lifemate is gone. May she now have peace and tranquility forever.
I knew Judy when she worked at FCCW. We shared a love for dogs. Condolences to her family and friends who who will miss the loving caring person I knew.
