John Carrington Williams, Jr., 75, of Louisa, passed away, Sunday, January 11, 2008, at his home, after a short battle with cancer
He was born December 11, 1933, at Walter Reed Hospital, to the late: John C. Williams, Sr., & Julia Silhan Williams.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph Silhan & Julie Mertl Silhan, two half-brothers: John Edward Williams & Robert Joseph Williams, and a half sister: Helen Williams Youse, in addition several nieces and nephews.
He served in the United States Air Force, and retired as a Master Sergeant.
Survivors include his brother: Walter C. Williams and his sister: Julia M. Williams, both of Louisa.
Family will receive friends, from 6:00- 8:00 P.M., Tuesday at Woodward Funeral Home, 200 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, 23093
A graveside service will be held, 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa, The Rev. Josh Turner will officiate.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to : Hospice of the Piedmont, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite # 300, Charlottesville, Virginia, 23093.
