Jo, so sorry to hear of John`s death, hope you are getting along ok. He will be greatly missed in the community, God Bless
John was a good supervisor in our AIP department at State Farm Insurance. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
Jo, So sorry to learn of John`s death. I have a lot of pleasant memories of fun times with you and John. May God comfort you and your family during this difficult time.
Joann, I am sorry to hear about your dad`s passing. I just received, in the mail, my copy of The Central Virginian (the Louisa weekly paper) and saw his obituary. I have fond memories of your family during our Rock Hill days. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
It is with a heavy heart that I make this entry. I really have enjoyed my catch up sessions with John by telephone or mail thru the years. He cared enough to stay in touch after leaving State Farm and that says something about the kind of man was. I met John when he became my supervisor in the AIP department at State Farm many years ago. Please know your family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Jo, I was so shocked to hear of John`s passing. There will never be anyone to compare with John: he was larger than life. I remember him so well at State Farm, back in the 60`s, playing pranks on Tatnall Hurtt. John was a sweet soul and had a sweet smile and a twinkle in his eye. I always loved talking with you two. Please accept my sincerest condolences. John will be missed by so many. Much love to you and your family.
So sorry I forgot to add a memory of John. He was a stern boss, but always had your back and was a fun guy to work for. I will miss our emails and phone calls. Please know your whole family will be in our memories this Christmas.
??.??? ??????“ what I am partly sainyg is that those words (materialist) are a bit out of date, because the contemporary understanding of material is very different now from the way it used to be. If we consider what matter really is, we now understand it as much more of a mathematical thing. When these categories materialist`, idealist` etc. were first coined, people thought of matter as a much more defined thing, something which is there`, and then you combine that with mysterious mind stuff which is floating around, which would be separate from it. But I think that matter itself is now much more of a mental substance; So before we have a deeper understanding of what is really going on, to talk about things in these terms is almost certainly limiting and inappropriate.”??????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????????????????????????????“??????“?????”???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????????????
