John Anderson Terrell
September 9, 1954 – January 12, 2022
John Anderson Terrell, 67, of Mineral passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022 in Charlottesville.
John was a member of the Louisa Presbyterian Church, Louisa Jaycees, loved to play baseball, softball, and football. He was a member of the Virginia Dairyman’s Association, enjoyed hunting, finishing. John was a part time truck driver, and owned his own trucking company for many years, he also loved spending time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father and mother, the late E. A. (Ned) and Rita White Terrell; one brother, Eddie Terrell. John is survived by his wife, Ann Graves Terrell; and son Robert Edmund Terrell; and aunts, uncles, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous close friends.
A visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Woodward Funeral Home, with a graveside to follow at 11:00 a.m. Sunday. January 23 in Hillcrest Cemetery. All wishing to go in procession to the cemetery should be at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.

My heart is broken. John was a special friend and so much fun to be around. Our family spent lots of wonderful times together. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He loved his family, friends, farm, sports, country and especially watching Robert play basesball and grow into the wonderful young man he is today. Ann and Robert my heart and prayers are with u during this trying time but God and the love of your family and friends will pull u through lvu.
Shocked to hear this…Worked with Eddie for years we lost him and now John…prayers for Ann and Robert…I wish with all my heart it wasn’t so but we never know what God has planned for us…John was a good man and a friend to many and will be dearly missed.

So sorry to hear about John’s passing. John was a great person and would do anything for you. My husband, Alan, drove for him and he was one of the best people to work with and for. He treated my husband so well and did a lot for him and we both had a lot of respect for him. Prayers to all of you. RIP John – you will be missed.
