He was the greatest man I ever knew. And I am one of four of the luckiest granddaughters in the world.
One of the most honest and finest men I have ever had a chance to work with . I know the Good Lord will have a special fishing hole for Jerry to enjoy.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you all at this time of loss. Jerry was a guiding light in my life and rooted me in the outdoors & love of being afield or on the water. Our opening day trout fishing trips we VERY special to me. His spiritual guidance also kept me grounded. Opal & Jerry always had their home open to us & are family and country folks from the same little rural southwest Virginia town. I have been very blessed to be able to call Jerry, Opal, Tex, Susan & Angie friends & family. God bless you all. If you need anything PLEASE call 321-501-9461

Pop-pa was the strongest man I knew, besides my father. I`m really going to miss him! Grandma, we are all here for you.
My thoughts are with you at this time of great loss. I will always remember uncle Jerry as a quiet and humble man who`s strength of character shown through in everything that he touched.
Our prayers are with you as you walk through this most difficult time. It is never easy to give up a parent. I know Mr. Parsons` must have been a fine Christian man because he certainly did raise a son anyone would be proud of.
