Jerry Maynard Hoke of Mineral, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born on April 22, 1950 in Kegley, West Virginia to the late Deward Lonnie Hoke and Thelma Mae Thomas Grubb. He is also preceded in death by his brother Lonnie Wayne Hoke.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 48 years; Cathy, his daughter, Lisa (Duane), his son, Jimmie (Elaine), two grandsons, Casey and Brandon Thompson, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jerry was a beloved husband and father who always put his family and extended family first. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A special thank you to his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Frankie and Paula Fields for all their love and support.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 pm on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA. A service will be officiated by Pastor Jim Reed at 12 noon on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Woodward Funeral Home with interment to follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Mineral, VA.
