Jennifer Greene Barlow
August 2, 1980 – February 13, 2023
A bright light in this dark world has dimmed. Jennifer “Jenny” Greene Barlow, 42, of Bumpass Virginia passed away peacefully at Chippenham Hospital surrounded by her family on Monday February 13th at 12:20am. Jenny is survived by her loving and amazing children, Jacob Uel (19) and Abigayle Lynn (16). She is also survived by her mother, Lynn T. Greene; a sister, Emma Greene Madison (Travis); her “favorite niece” Maddie Madison, many cousins, aunts and uncles; her boyfriend, Shawn Christmas; best friend, Karen Ross, her Blue Ridge Bank Family and many friends.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her father, Russell I. Greene; her Grandparents, Emma F. and Arthur C. Greene, Lena K. Turney and Raymond Ashworth, and several aunts and uncles.
Jennifer was a 1998 graduate of Louisa County High School. Following high school, Jenny began working at Virginia Community Bank, now known as Blue Ridge Bank for 20+years, starting as a teller and eventually Branch Manager of the Mineral Branch.
A Celebration of Life is pending and will be announced at a later time.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, calls, texts, visits, meals and care they’ve shown. Jenny was loved by everyone who knew her and she will be forever missed.

Jenny, you and I may not have been close for many years, but you were and always will be my Little Cousin. I know you will be missed by all who knew you! Rest Easy up there! To Abby, Jacob, and the rest of Jenny’s family: I can’t describe how much I loved Jen. God let us be in each other’s lives for over 20 years as dear friends. We had so many fun times together. Just knowing I could pick up the phone and talk to her about anything or visit her made me happy. There is a place in my heart that will always be hers. Sending my deepest condolences, prayers and love to all of you.
