James Monroe Martin, Sr, formerly of Louisa, Virginia passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 in Marietta, GA. He had worked as an Equipment Operator for the County of Louisa and had attended Louisa Christian Church.He is predeceased by his parents, Owen and Maggie Martin and his loving wife Laura Martin.Survived by two sons, Bobby Martin (Ettiewah) of Louisa, VA and James Martin, Jr. (Greta of Elizabethtown, KY; three daughters’ Mary Martin, Barbara Martin of Marietta, GA and Dorothy Spry of Louisa, VA; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and one brother, Ralph Martin (Coleen) of Fredericksburg, VA.The family will receive friends 5-7pm on Saturday, August 10th at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA. A graveside service officiated by Rev. Denny Burnette will be held 2:00pm Sunday, August 11, 2013 in Hillcrest Cemetery, Louisa.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donation in his name to; The American Heart Association, P.O.
