Ida G. Evans, 90, of Louisa passed away Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2020 at English Meadows of Louisa.
Ida was a member of Mineral Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father and mother Roy and Alice Thurston; her husband Langon L. Evans, Sr.; one son Ricky Evans; and one granddaughter Missi Deavers.
Ida is survived by two sons Langon L. Evans, Jr. (Shelly) and Roger Dale Evans, Sr. (Shelby); one daughter Peggy Jones (Rhonda); two brothers Ray Thurston, Sr. and Gerald Thurston; and her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at English Meadows of Louisa, and Medi Home Hospice of Charlottesville.
A graveside service will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 1 p.m. in the Mineral Baptist Church Cemetery with pastor Jim Blackwell.

Peggy, Dale & Langon I’m so sorry for your loss. Although I hadn’t seen her in years i cheerish the times i was around her. I loved talking to her & hearing her laugh. At one time she was a second mom to me. My thoughts & prayers are with you.
Peggy and family I just saw that your mom passed. She was such a sweet and kind person always watching out for my Aunt Sallie Mae. So glad they were at the same table to eat together. I so missed not being able to visit with her due too covid. I know you have great memories. I will always remember her smile.
