Hunter Early Richardson, Sr. 90 of Louisa, VA passed away on October 28, 2014. He served his county in the U.S. Army, was a lifelong member of Macedonia United Methodist Church, a former member of the Louisa Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, a member of Louisa Ramblers and a life member of Bells Crossroad Hunt Club.He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Bettie Sue Richardson, and his wife Iris Dean Richardson.He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Hunter E. Richardson, Jr. (Beth); daughter, Susan R. Hopkins (Gerald); grandchildren, Hunter Allen and Brian Keith Hopkins; Kasey Erin Bourgeois; Mathew Benjamin, Bryan Adam, and Beth Megan Richardson; and seven great-grandchildren.The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Saturday, November 1st at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, November 2nd at Hillcrest Cemetery officiated by Rev. Steve Hall.In lieu of flowers memorial donations in his name may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 17 Byrd Mill Road, Louisa, VA 23093

Susan, Hunter and family – It`s been so many years since I`ve seen your Dad, but I do remember him from our family reunions in Louisa. Celebrate him and think of all the things that you shared with him. My heart goes out to all of you and I wish that we could be there today for hugs, remembering and celebrating your Dad`s life.
