Harry Melvin Hall
December 12,1950-March 4, 2022
Harry Melvin Hall went to his heavenly home on 3/4/2022. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, parents, Major and Bessie, 5 brothers and 2 sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Cynthia (Rilton), Lisa, Patricia (Darnell) and Deborah (Lee). Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Corey, Tarin, Nicholas, Jada, Chelsea, Haley, Matthew, Julianna and Darnell, Jr. “DJ”, great grandchildren, Kayden, Tyson, Ethan, Leighton, Jaylani, 4 brothers, 3 sisters and numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Harry was a true tradesman. His handy work can be found all over Central VA and beyond. From building houses, to pouring footings, he took great pride in his work and it showed. While his skills were many, the job he most enjoyed was that of an owner/operator. He appreciated being able to see the country while earning a living. Second only to his family, Harry loved fox hunting and the many experiences and relationships it afforded him. A great storyteller and provider, as well as the absolute best “PaPa”, he will be missed.
The care provided by Eddie Valentin, the staff of Virginia at Home and Medi Hospice is greatly appreciated.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm on , March 8, 2022 at Woodward Funeral Home, 200 Fredericksburg Ave Louisa Va, 23093. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on March 9, 2022 at Oak Grove Wesleyan Church, 16360 Woodman Hall Rd, Montpelier, Va 23192 with burial to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Oak Grove Wesleyan Church or The Down Syndrome Association of Greater Richmond.

R.I.P uncle Harry u will be missed
Uncle Harry, now is the time for you to be with Aunt Linda and your other family. Your Oklahoma family didn’t get to see you as much as we would’ve like to but we will miss you more than you know.
I remember the last conversation with you, we were talking about you and Aunt Linda coming to see us and you told me that you would love to meet my fiance.
I was sad that that never happened but I know it wasn’t bc you didn’t want it to.
I luv you Uncle Harry,
Gone But Never Forgotten
Love from Oklahoma family,
