My condolences to Dewey`s family and friends at his passing. Though I have not seen Dewey since graduation, I remember him as a fun loving guy who had a heck of a lot of friends. I know that he will be missed by all those who knew him. God`s peace to all those who mourn him.
I was sorry to hear of Dewey?s passing. I too grew up in Illinois near Allen?s addition and Dewey and my brother Mel remained friends throughout their years at Riverdale Grade School, Rock Falls High School and beyond. Although I was a few years younger, I remember Dewey as a caring generous fun guy. I had only managed to track him from a cursory distance through friends, of which he had many. I have thought of him often over the years, especially after Mel passed away in 2005. I hope you can all find solace in knowing just how much he touched friend?s lives. Peace to Dewey?s family for a man who will be missed.

Dewey was a high school friend of mine. As other former classmates have written, he was so funny. When I first signed onto classmates.com…I wrote to Dewey. He told me how happily married he was and how wonderful his kids were. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.Cheryl
You may not physically be with us, but I know we`re not really apart. All our good times and memories, stay deeply embedded in my heart. Forever and Always a Friend, Danny Firth
On Sunday, through a long distance phone call, my Sister informed me that Dewey had passed away. Dewey was a very special person to several of us. I remember all of us hanging out together, going to the Y Dance, Prom & Homecoming, etc.I`ll never forget all of the football games – especially the one where the kicker kicked the football into the stands, & it came down, hit me in the head, & knocked me out cold. Later, Dewey said he saw a bunch of people kneeling over somebody in the stands. Yea, Dewey #73. I also laugh when I think of all of the wrestling matches we attended, I was a cheerleader & how silly & crazy we were on the bus, on the way home.We had some great times, & Dewey, we will never forget you. Thank you for allowing me to share some great & precious memories. My sympathy goes out to his entire family. May God grant you all peace. Namaste`Sincerely,Deborah BonnerBellvue, Colorado
Please accept our deepest sympathies for your loss. Dewey was a classmate of both myself and my wife Cheryl Hardy Boesen at Rock Falls HS. We will keep you in our thoughts in the coming days.
I am so sorry to hear about Dewey. I was a classmate, as well. He was a funny; fun-loving person who will be sadly missed by the Class of 1968 Members and all who knew him.My prayers and thoughts are with you and his family.
