Gloria Perkins Hottinger
October 14, 1946 – October 19, 2023
Gloria Perkins Hottinger, 77, of Louisa, VA, passed away on October 19, 2023 with her family by her side.
Gloria retired after many years with the telephone company, before going to work for a publishing company. Gloria retired once again in order to spend more time with her family.
Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her three children, Susan Vance (Rusty), James Hottinger Jr. (Julie), and Thomas Hottinger (Melissa); her five grandchildren she adored, Kaitlyn, Ethan, Lily, Megan, and Olivia; her beloved sister, Sheila Jones (Keith); her three brothers, Ronnie Perkins (Meg), Pete Perkins (Brenda), and Andy Perkins (Tammy); her brother-in-law, Jim Payne; as well as a host of cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Gloria is predeceased by her husband, James Hottinger, Sr.; her sister, Gayle Payne; and her parents, Linwood “Chug” and Ora Perkins.
At her request, no service will be held.
What an amazing woman, she was the sweetest person I have ever known, I will miss seeing her beautiful smile . Prayers to her children and grandkids, A void that will never be filled. Love you all
Gloria was a wonderful woman and neighbor. We will miss the visits from her and Patches on the Gator.
Sympathy to Gloria’s family. We were classmates at Louisa. I could tell that she was a hard worker at home as well as school. May she rest in peace!
