A very sincere thanks to our church family and Dottie’s YaYa Sisters for all their help during the difficult time leading to our celebration of Glenn’s Iife.
If you listen with faith, you will hear the ball rattle home, a result of Glenn’s deft touch on the greens in heaven, or the sound of his trumpet as he plays for our Lord Jesus.

Condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of meeting Glenn when I signed up to take golf lessons at Pen Park years ago; and then I recognized him again when he was working at Tanyard and told him that I remembered him and that he taught me how to play the game. I am glad to have had the privileged to meet him and his love for the game of golf, inspired so many people.
Dottie, Tim and David I was saddened by the news of LIl Pros passing. There could not have been a more wonderful person to know and learn from. I know he is fixing all the broken clubs and swings up at the big course in the sky.
Although I didn`t know Glenn personally, it sounds like he had a very fulfilling and rewarding life. He certainly accomplished a great deal during his years as a PGA professional and we members can be proud of him.
Dottie and Tim,So sorry to hear of Glenn`s passing. I remember him as a friendly and helpful Golf Professional. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
I know you will miss him.
Our hearts and prayers are yours.
Dottie, Tim, and David:Glenn was one of my favorite PGA Golf Professionals. I enjoyed every time I came to visit, each time is a memory I will never forget. My best PGA meetings included Glenn and Tim. You will be in my prayers.
Glenn was one of the very first people I met when taking up the game in the early 60`s, probably at Keswick. The last time I saw him was several years ago at Tanyard. He was fine gentleman the first time, last time, and forever.
Dottie – I`m sorry that I could not be there today, but please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know that you will miss Glenn terribly, but also hold on to the promise that you will be together again one day. Thank you for being a beautiful example of what marriage is all about.
Sorry for your loss. Glenn was always the ultimate gentleman.
Dear Dottie:I`m very sadden to hear of Glenn`s Homegoing, but happy to know that he`s in a better place and God has given him peace. I lost my wife in January and know the grief and emotions that you are going through but time and love of your family and friends will help heal your heart.Although its been years since I have seen you, I have thought of you two and regret that we must reconnect under these circumstances.Sincerely,George Simpson
I got to know your Dad when I was pro at Greene Hills. I enjoyed the times we had together the four years I spent at Greene Hills. He was really friendly and helpful to me as I was a total stranger in that section. He truly was a friend to me. Joe Simpson LM
My condolences go out to you, Tim and your family. May God continue to comfort you and the family though the good and trying times. Tim stay strong for the family and, may God bless you.
Dear Dottie, Tim and David,My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. All the wonderful experiences I had with Glenn were very special and mostly unique. The Pinehurst Goode Olde Boys will never be the same without him. It has been my honor to be a PGA Professional with him and a privilege to call him my golfing buddy, one of my mentors, but most of all my friend.
Dottie, Ann and I sent our sincerest condolences to you and the boys on Glenn`s death. We have so many happy memories of our Keswick days and the wonderful cookouts; if only they could have continued with Glenn in charge. We will listen carefully for the sound of his trumpet.
My heart goes out to you, Dottie, Tim and David. I am greatful for having been able to meet him. Even so he is in a better place now, he surely will be missed here on earth. My whole family sends their love as well!
Dottie, Tim, & David,I am so sorry that I was unable to attend Glenn`s funeral, but was out of town at the time. What a great friend he was. I will forever remember the times when he and Luke Barnes took us to junior golf tournaments and then later in life, when I became one of his peers at the `Good Ole Boys`. We may have called him Little Pro” but he was big in stature. I`m lucky to have been able to call him `Friend` and shared many wonderful times with him in Pinehurst. He was `Simply the Best`. Celia and I send our heartfelt sympathy and will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.Sincerely Jay”
