George ?Tiny? Madison, 76, of Spotsylvania County, passed away Sunday, July 31, 2011 at Louisa Health Care.
Mr. Madison was employed part-time for Spotsylvania County at the Belmont Convenience site. He had retired from Dominion North Anna Power Station as a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Anna Bell Madison; his son, Gary Franklin and his wife, Linda; his daughters, Teresa Madison and her fiancé, Bill Perkins and Kimberly Madison, all of Spotsylvania; his brothers, C.C. Billy Madison, W.D. Madison and his wife, Wendy and Bobbie Madison and his wife, Loretta; his sisters, Mary Lee Robinson and her husband, Floyd, Anna Cole Hartley and her husband, J.R., Nora Richardson, Betty Campbell and her husband, Jimmy, Kaye Landrum and her husband, Jeter and Patty Madison; his grandchildren, Melinda Yeater and her husband, Mike, Gary Madison Jr. and his wife, Emily and George Allen Madison; his great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Leah Madison; five brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved cats, Socks and Cole. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Georgie Madison; his brothers, Leslie Pete Madison and John Larry Madison; and his sisters, Wanda Sharpe and Barbara Madison.
A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, August 3 at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Lowell Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Gary Madison, Gary Madison Jr., George Allen Madison, Boyd Williams, Michael Judy and Dwayne Flippo.
The family will receive friends from 6-8pm, Tuesday, August 2 at Woodward Funeral Home.
The family would like to thank Dr. Essig and his staff for their wonderful care.

Madison Family,Ever since the day I met George and all of you ya`ll have been very close to my heart! You all are good people and I am here for each and every one of you. To Annie and all the rest of the family, I feel your lost deeply. I can truly say that Tiny was as good and loving to me and all my family as if he had been my Uncle Tiny. On this the 2nd anniversary of Daddys passing I can only say that you will always miss him as we will. It is good to know he`s in a better place without pain. We truly loved him.
