Eva Belle Grubbs Nidermaier

Eva Belle Grubbs Nidermaier, of Mineral, VA born June 1st, 1928, passed to her heavenly home on December 6, 2022.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, James Robert Nidermaier; and parents Hunter C. Grubbs and Myrtle D. Grubbs.
She is survived by her son, James W. Nidermaier and daughters, Roberta Williams, Sylvia Nelson, Penny Seymour, and Sandy Chan; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Eva drove a school bus for 16 years and her love for children prompted her to knit hats for premature babies and children from as far away as Ukraine and as close to home as her own county.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 11, 2022, in the Grubbs-Nidermaier Family Cemetery (520 Belle Meade rd., Bumpass VA, 23024) with Pastor Rhonda Kruger and Pastor Penny Seymour officiating.
Your wings were ready but our hearts were not. I am so grieved for our family’s loss, but rejoice in knowing that our precious Eva is now home pain free with our Lord.

Im so very sorry to hear about Mrs. Nidermaier’s passing. She was my bus driver in elementary school and I’ve always thought about her. She was always so loving and caring for her “kids.” Thoughts and prayers to her family during this time.
