Eleanor K. Hagmann
Eleanor Kremer Hagmann, 77, of Mineral, VA, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at her residence. Born in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of the late Henry and Eleanor Kremer, she graduated from Montclair State Teachers College and taught elementary school in New Jersey. She was a member of St. Jude’s Catholic Church, Louisa, VA, where she served on the Women’s Guild and Community Life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Hagmann; brothers, Henry & Warren Kremer; a sister-in-law, Eleanor Kremer; and a sister, Sister Catherine Kremer.
Survivors include her son, Christopher Hagmann of Christiansburg, VA, daughters, Cathie H. Metallo & husband Samuel of Earlysville, VA, Krista A. Francom & husband Gerald of Fredericksburg, VA; four grandchildren, Susan & David Metallo, Matthew and Teresa Francom; and two nieces Karen Rodrigues and Kathleen Rose.
Family will receive friends 3-5 PM on Sunday, October 5th, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church with a Prayer Service at 3 PM.
Funeral Mass will be held 11AM on Monday, October 6th, at St. Jude’s Catholic Church; conducted by Father Michael Duffy. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Hagmann will be greatly missed by our family. She was a lovely lady that had such a strong faith in God. We will always remember the twinkle in her eyes, her fierce independence, her love of her family, friends and animals. Our thoughts and prayers are of her children, grandchildren and all who loved her, our family included.
