Everyone should have a Mother, family member, and/or friend like Edith Hicks. Edith loved her family. She worked hard – canning, freezing and preserving vegetables and fruits for the winter months. She paid special attention to assisting the elderly and those in need. Edith was very proud of her four children and their accomplishments in life. She told me this on my last visit with her. Edith Hicks was a fine Christian lady. I respect and admire her. Respectfully – Minnie Irwin
