Earle Gregory Paynter, III 67 of Louisa, VA died February 9, 2012 as Martha Jefferson Hospital with his family by his side. A native of Clifton Forge, VA; he was preceded in death by his parents, Earle G. Paynter, Jr. and Pauline Payne; a granddaughter, Samantha Sisk; brother, Doug Paynter and sister Wanda Seay.
He is survived by his wife, Noma LaVaughn, Daughter, Paula Watson and her husband James; daughter, Sandy Paynter and her fiancé’ D. W. Pritchett; son, Earle G. Paynter, IV and his fiancee’ Fonda Graves, son, Victor O. Paynter and Lisa Paynter; two stepdaughters, Robin Sisk and significant other Marvin Dilla; Pam Lent and fiancé’ Damian Farmer. Grandchildren; Dawn and John Herndon; Amber Farrish, Alex Tillman, Jacob Paynter, Kevin Farmer, Alyssa Currier, Manuel Perez, Tabitha Sisk, Marcus Perez, James Watson and Brianna Lamm; great-grandchildren; Makayla Herndon, Linzy Herndon and Chase Williams; a brother, Mason Lockridge and his wife Pauletta; a brother-in-law, Sam Birckhead and his wife Trudy. A special friend, Julie along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Earle was a retired electrician/electrical dept. supervisor for Robertson Electric Co., working there forty years and was Bill Robertson’s first employee. Earle loved to play music, bowl, fish, hunt, go to car races, ride his motorcycle; visit with family and friends and travel. He leaves behind many pets that miss him.

A memorial celebration will be held at 1510 Peach Grove Rd. Louisa Rt. 621 on February 18, 2012 at 2:00 pm.

We want to express our sincere sympathy to the whole family in the loss of your loved one Earle. Our families have known each other for years and it saddens us to know that the loss of Earle will leave such a huge emptiness for your immediate family as well as so many friends and others that knew Earle.
