Earl Richard Anderson
Earl Richard Anderson, 92, of Mineral, passed away Friday, February 29, 2008 at his residence. Earl served his country in the United States Army during World War II and fought in the Battle of Leyte. He was a member of Mineral Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday school and was a member of the Singing Seniors.
Earl is survived by his son, Ronald E. Anderson, Sr. and wife Margie of Chaptico, Maryland, his daughters, Miriam Jean DiSilvestri of Mineral and Patricia K. King and husband Raymond of Davidsonville, Maryland, his brother John Howard Anderson of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Earl is preceded in death by his wife, Elsie Louise Anderson, and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 12′ o’ clock Thursday, March 6, 2008 at Mineral Baptist Church. The Rev. Michael Durham will be conducting the service. Inurnment will be at a later date in the columbarium at National Memorial Park in Falls Church.
