Dylan McCurdy
September 15, 2000 – September 27, 2022
Dylan McCurdy tragically died at the age of 22 on Tuesday September 27, 2022. He died too soon for a young man with life’s wonderful adventures ahead of him.
He was predeceased by his grandfather, Lawrence Karlow. He is survived by his parents Melissa McCurdy, Rob McCurdy, and step mother Michelle, his brother, Devin McCurdy, and grandparents Terry Lee Karlow, Deborah Argento and Andrew Argento. He is also survived by many friends in Louisa County. All mourn his unfortunate death.
A visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Thursday October 6 at the Woodward Funeral Home, 200 Fredericksburg Avenue in the town of Louisa,23093. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Saturday October 8 at the Western Hanover Church, 16050 Mountain Road in Montpelier 23192. Friends and family are welcome at both events.
A beloved son gone too soon. Your family will always cherish your memory. May God bless and encompass you with His grace and mercy. May you all meet again one day and reunite in the kingdom of heaven. Rest in peace beloved son.

Dylan had an impact on all of us. He was a good friend, brother, and son. He always lit up the room and was the life of the party. Everyone gravitated toward his energy. I will miss Dylan every day. He always encouraged me to be myself and gave me a friendship I will never forget. I love Dylan so much and I’m so happy I got to know him. I’m forever grateful for everything he did. My heart is broken.

Even though I left Louisa long ago Dylan Mccurdy was never far away from my mind. He was one of the first friends I ever connected with when I had moved to the town, he was also one of the only ones to reach out to me after I had left. Dylan’s love and appreciation will never be lost on anyone who came into contact with him. You will be missed but never forgotten brother; rest easy 🖤
