Duane Rudolph Wilke, 55, died Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at his home. He was a loving husband, dad, P-pop, brother, and a friend to all. Duane was a true family man, he and Carol celebrated over 18 years of wedded bliss together, and he raised his sons to be reliable, fine gentlemen. His grandchildren were the joy of his life, and he loved watching and playing with them. After 33 years of hard work, Duane retired from International Moving Service (IMS) in Alexandria, VA as a Warehouse Foreman and became a full-time resident of Lake Anna. He was the proud captain of his pontoon boat, Group Therapy, and a regular volleyball player at the Sandbar. He was a true friend to many.
Duane is preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Gloria Wilke. He is survived by his wife, Carol Wilke of the home; 2 sons, James Littleton (Ellie) of Stafford, VA, and Michael Littleton (Tory) of Holly Springs, NC; a sister, Susan Wilke of Springfield, VA; and 2 grandchildren, Brooklyn Normyle and Jaxsen Littleton of Holly Springs, NC.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022, 9:30 am – 10:30 am, at Woodward Funeral Home, 200 Fredericksburg Avenue, Louisa, VA 23093. Memorial Service will be held immediately following visitation at the same location, 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm, Mount Comfort Cemetery, 6600 South Kings Highway, Alexandria, VA 22306.
