Doris Carvajal, 58, of Mineral, Virginia passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 11, 2017. She was retired from the U. S. Marine Corp having served 20 years and was employed by the US Government.
She is survived by her son, Benjamin Waters.
A service to celebration her life will be held at 2pm at Woodward Funeral Home on Saturday, February 18, 2017; with military honors
Ben and all of Doris` family, I am so sorry to learn of Doris` passing. She was a loving Mother to Ben and part of our family, always. The light of her love lives on in Ben and his family and in all who knew and loved her.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ben and the family for your loss.
Dori what can I say… the past few years have flown by and I have truly missed you. Now today I have to say goodbye!!There are so many memories, you never stopped amazing me. There isn`t anything that you couldn`t do or wouldn`t try. So much crazy fun in Millington, Yuma and here in VA. Crazy how I tried to find you in VA and you ended up finding me. I will never forget you trying to teach me Spanish… I didn`t learn much, but I will always remember Te cerro con todo me corizon. So forever I will love you with all my heart.
Doris was an awesome caring woman of the highest integrity and love for her son Ben. Doris was one of the most professional Marines that I was blessed to work with and a friend.
True friends are like stars, you don`t always see them but you know they`re always there…in my heart forever.
