Nelda and Wanda,
Sending my love and prayers at this difficult time. I have some great memories of Perk that make me smile from the NASCAR race days.
In memory of my cousin, Donald, and to his family, I loved you all as we grew up together, you accompanied me to the Saturday night Westerns at the only indoor movie theater in Louisa, we attended dances when Donald was the only one old enough to drive his Dad’s car, his Dad, Shorts, taught me to drive through the very field where Donald and Nelda later built their home. Such a great life we had with our family at Christmas, enjoying those delicious meals!!! Memories they are, it’s all we have left. I worked at the bank in Charlottesville with Nelda, spent many weekends with them and loved them for their kindness to me.
Now I grieve with them but know Donald has passed to another place where he is again young and healthy, no pain. So sorry Wayne and I cannot be with your family for this sad goodbye.
Love to all from Wayne, Bettie and Ryan
Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
Take care. God Bless
