Dolores was an avid reader and enjoyed her visits to the Louisa Library. She was a most kind and caring woman who enriched the lives of those she knew. She loved all animals – especially dogs. She supported numerous animal rescue organizations including the Louisa County Animal Shelter. She worked 30+ years for the Department of the Army at Ft. Benning, GA and in retirement supported numerous Veterans organizations including the Disabled American Veterans (DAV). She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Donations in her memory should be made to any Veterans organization or local animal shelter of your choice.
Beloved sister, beloved friend it has been my honor to take care of you for the past six years. I am heartbroken that you had to leave us so soon and I will miss you every day. I know that you are now at peace and without pain and in the loving arms of those you loved that passed before you. I will always have hugs for you and hold you dear in my heart. All my love forever. Cathy
I only knew you for six short years. I welcomed you to Waverly Place when you moved here as a leasing agent and loved being your across the hall neighbor for the last year at Waverly. You were indeed a kind and caring person. My heart is broken.
