My condolences to sonya, amber, shane and family for your loss of a great husband, dad, and friend to you all. I have no words to express my sorrow. I personally lost my best friend. I am glad I had the opportunity to know him he will be deeply missed.
Although it is still difficult to accept that Denny is no longer with us, I am relieved to know he no longer suffers pain from his illness. I hope you feel loved and comforted by the great memories you made with Denny. Our family will not be the same without him, as he always had a terrific sense of humor making those around him laugh.
“Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy.”
Had him for Auto 1, 2 and 3 from ’95-’97. Little did I know then that it was the beginning of my mechanical learning, and he started it. May all his family and friends find peace as we learn to live differently.
Dennis will be greatly missed. I had the privilege of working with him for 21 years in the CTE department. I always knew I had a good friend next door that I could count on any time I needed him. Dennis had a caring heart and was always willing to give a helping hand. Alot of good memories of a man I very much respected.
Mr Voorheis, Was a great teacher, he helped many students to take pride in themselves and learn a few life lessons. My condolences to the family my you find peace in your memories.

Dear Sonya, Amber and Shane, my heart goes out to each of you in the loss of Denny. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and I am proud that I got to know him as husband to Sonya who I worked with for years. You are a strong woman so I know that you will hold him in your heart each day as you live on. I would love to see you for a lunch sometime when you can get away from work. Love to you all.
