Christopher ?Ryan? Phelps, former resident of Louisa, Virginia; returned to his heavenly father on August 13, 2007 while visiting friends in San Antonio, Texas. Ryan was born in Suffolk, Virginia on July 29, 1988. He was a member of Apple Grove Baptist Church, Mineral, Va.
He is survived by his parents; Douglas L. Phelps, Louisa, VA and his mother, Jane Phelps of Rustburg, VA; four brothers, Stephen, Jonathan, Jared, and Randy, and eight sisters; Janet, Caroline, Nicole, Diane, Cindy, Stephanie, Brittany and Jessica. He is also survived by his biological mother, Christine Shaver of Suffolk, Va.
A funeral service will be held at 3pm on Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA with the Rev. Edgar J. Burkholder officiating.
Family will receive friends prior to service from 1pm-3pm on Sunday.
