Carol Ann Campbell Reeves, of Mineral, Va., peacefully departed from this life on August 26, 2011.
She is survived by her husband, George C. Reeves; her three children, Kimberly C. Dowell, Samuel N. Crowe and Tyral C. Crowe; and her five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held, 2 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, at Church of the Incarnation, Mineral, with interment to follow in Spring Grove Memorial Park, Mineral.
The family will receive friends at the church, from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, August 30.

I had the honor to work with Carol. Such a beautiful women. I enjoyed every moment with her. To be absent from the body is to be present with Lord. My thoughts and prayers to the family. Peace & Blessings.

My mother was a wonderful woman with a big heart who was taken from us abruptly and unexpectedly in a car accident that should have been survivable. She deserved much better than she had and suffered for years in a loveless marriage to George Reeves who in my opinion never rated the ground she walked on. Happy mother`s day Mom.
