Carol J. Lear, 70, of Mineral, Virginia passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017.
She is survived by her husband; George B. Lear, Jr., her daughter, Kristi Lear; her son, Michael B. Lear (Erica); her granddaughter, Kira B. Lear and her grandson, Aidan T. Lear.
A great Navy wife, who partnered with her husband through 13 moves in nearly 49 years of marriage, she was a devoted mother, grandmother and wife. Carol was always in great good humor and willing to do anything she could to help others. She will be sorely missed!
A memorial service will be held at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland on May 12, 2017 at 10:30am, with inurnment to follow at the Naval Academy Columbarium
