Betty-Lou White passed away peacefully in her home on Lake Louisa in Virginia on May 26, 2018 at the age of 88. Born on May 8, 1930 in Attleboro, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Iver and Margaret Johnson. She graduated from the University of Massachusetts where she met her future husband, Ed. A devoted wife and mother, Betty-Lou was best known for her kind and selfless nature.
Betty-Lou will be lovingly remembered by her five children David (Joan), Deb, Karen, Ken (Samantha), and Vickie (Joe), by her six grandchildren Kaela, Makenna, Katie, Max, Sam and Sam and by her brother Ralph Johnson. She will also be lovingly remembered by Jeff McAllister and by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Ed White.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the Blue Ridge Shores Baptist Church located at 1230 Firehouse Drive, Louisa, VA 23093 with the Funeral Service at 12:00 PM also at the Church.
Memorial donations in memory of Betty-Lou can be made to a charity of your choice or to the Trevilians Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad, 737 Firehouse Drive, Louisa, VA 23093 to whom we are appreciative for their responsiveness, compassion and professionalism.
