Betty Lou Lamb Searls

May 2, 1943 – May 19, 2021

Hi, this is Betty Lou Lamb Searls, 78 flying in the sky to meet my Lord and Savior. I will reunite with my family gone before me. Papa Lamb, (Claude Amos Lamb), Mama Lamb, (Thelma Clare Shiflett Lamb); and four of the little Lambs; three brothers Carroll Herbert, Charles Cecil, and baby boy Keith; sister Shirley May Lamb Barber.

I am Survived by my son Jeffery Searls; two beautiful granddaughters, Kristin Nicole McGuinnis (Matt), and amber Dawn Searls; one great-grandson, Jackson; Carroll’s wife Bernice. I leave behind my long-time partner Lonnie Nowell and love of my life and very best friend, “O what a nurse he made”; also, I leave behind the rest of the little lambs, Barbara (Harry), Geneva Riggs, Frances Lamb, and Beverly Lamb Harrison (Travis); along with lots of nieces, nephews and a slew of cousins and other families.

I want to thank my McDonald friends, Mike and his wife Kwan, Nick, Helen, Ann, Naomi and Arnold, Brian, Roy, Teresa all for being my friends and being so kind. Make sure you take good care of Lonnie; he is a wonderful person. I hate to leave him behind me, but he will catch up with me in the future. He will need your support now that I won’t be around. I’m also looking forward to seeing my great friend Rev. Nancy Hauser. Also, thanks to special friends Bill and Barbara whom was always ready to play cards and would always be ready to help if I needed them.  In lieu of flowers please donate to your favorite charity or to someone in need.

A graveside service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hillcrest Cemetery Louisa, VA.
