Betty Jean Smith 76 of Louisa, Virginia passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Dennis Robert and Gladys Mae Wagner; and widow of Samuel Smith, Sr.Betty was member of Yanceyville and Louisa Christian Church and a active member of the Louisa Senior Center.Survivors include sons; Sam Smith (Pam) of Farmville, VA, Lee Smith (Amy) of Lansing Michigan, Daughters; Cindy Nichols of Frederick MD and Dianne Keffer (Matt) of Louisa, VA, Grandchildren; Rebecca, Christopher and Aimee Smith, Jacob Keffer, Robert and David Nichols, Bethany Hanes, Billy and Steven Smith and Clint Mallory; six great-grandchildren.A Graveside service will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at Yanceyville Christian Church Cemetery; officiated by Rev. Denny Burnette. The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Tuesday, February 19th at Woodward Funeral Home, Louisa, VA. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Legacy Hospice, 675 Peter Jefferson Parkway, Suite 180, Charlottesville, VA 22911.
