Beatrice Lois Cosner Hadder, 84 of Louisa, VA; passed away Monday, September 3, 2012 at her residence.Born in Kent’s Store on October 27, 1927; she was an active member of Louisa Presbyterian Church for 57 years, serving in the Presbyterian Women’s group and as a faithful servant of the church’s ministries. Lois loved the children of the church. She worked for many years in the county court s serving as a deputy in Fluvanna and Louisa County. Lois is survived by her husband, Jesse Thomas Hadder; several nieces, nephews and cousins.A funeral service will be held 11am on Wednesday, September 5th at Woodward Funeral Home officiated by Rev, Todd McCoy with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6-8pm on Tuesday, September 4th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her name may be made to Louisa Presbyterian Church Building Fund; P.O. Box 522 Louisa, VA 23093.
Tommy,Larry and I wanted you to know that we are thinking and praying for you. Miss Lois was a wonderful lady and friend to us. Our last memory of her is when we were decorating the Crismon Tree at church this past December. She was always so kind to us and we loved her. Sorry we are not home to share the celebration of her life but we are in Indiana with our daughter and family.
So sorry to hear the news of sweet Lois, our thoughts and prayers are with Tommy at this difficult time. We love you.
