
Barbara Seay Walton

Barbara Seay Walton, 77, of Mineral, Va. passed away peacefully Saturday, October 26, 2019 at Henrico Doctor’s Hospital.
Throughout her beautiful life, Barbara was a longtime, active member of Mineral Baptist Church. Her attendance of Sunday morning services as well as her contributions with the children’s choir and Awana’s gave her joy like no other.
Outside of church, her hobbies included birdwatching, cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Barbara brought happiness and showed only love to everyone she encountered. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include her loving husband, Totton Walton; daughter Tammy Walton; granddaughters Madalyn Fox and Kaitlyn Fox; sister June Rice; uncle Romulus Seay; and aunt Ruby Bell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Barbara Seay; and grandparents James Early and Tommie Richard Seay.
For those whose lives were touched by Barbara, a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 31 at Mineral Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mineral Baptist Church or the Mineral Rescue Squad in loving memory of Barbara Seay Walton.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family. I never had the honor of meeting Barbara but can recall the many conversations and stories we shared regards to family – they were all about LOVE & being proud – that my friend are memories to cherish.
